Lovely Memory
The lovely memory,
Seen through the ghost of a photograph,
Little goofy face,
That seems kinda cool.
Yet through there, I don't see,
Any of you at all.
I see an image of a person,
Barely scrapped together through,
A lovely memory.

Ghosts in the center of,
Something nonexistent,
Here and there I debate, whether,
You and me in the same place,
Is memory or,
A figment of my imagination.
Hugs are a thing of the past,
A date on the yesterday,
As they were before I met you.
So I close my eyes, constantly swirling around,
It's a void and a jumble,
And remind me,
What are the color of your eyes?
I can't remember,
I don't remember.
I don't think I really know,
Any further.
Oh,
Well?
Oh well.
I say goodbye again, as you disappear over the horizon,
My eyes are closed,
My eyes are closed,
And I start to contemplate the figure,
The fact,
That I don't feel alright.
You're just a bird on the horizon,
Disappearing,
And I wonder if it's forever,
Or if when you come back,
You'll expect things to be the same?
