Looking for resources

Hi,

I recently came into possession of some papers and reports about me from my country's welfare services dating back to when I was a young teen. My mother, who I have no contact with, gave several interviews at that time. Her words are very disturbing and I want to try and understand what might be wrong with her. I have tried googling but nothing is coming up.

I am looking to try and find some information about what might cause a parent to resent their child, state that it is undeserving and unwanted directly to state welfare services, and devise psychological tortures for it to hurt it, but at the same time require the child to be under its complete control mentally and physically, and refuse to voluntarily surrender the child into state care.

If anyone knows of a resource in English I could search through or has any clues what mental disorder this type of behaviour is linked to I would be very grateful.
