How to set off an alarm if a certain app notifies me?

I'm waiting for a really important and time sensitive notification to be delivered from one of my apps. It could come any time of day and needs to be acted upon within 3 minutes or else I'm screwed.

I'm really worried about sleeping through its built in notification feature (I'm a heavy sleeper who would generally sleep through short lived notification noises).

How can I make it so that any notification from this app will automatically trigger an alarm that persists until I wake up (like a normal alarm)? My device (Google Pixel 3) is rooted if it requires that.
