Question regarding breaking/leaving contract as rising AS400

Hey everyone,

Lately I have been really battling with whether or not I want to pursue a commission. For personal reasons, as well as how I believe I can best contribute positively to a society that I see to be at a pivot point, I am deeply unsure of whether or not I have made the right decision by contracting with the Air Force.

For context I was awarded an In-College Scholarship as an AS100. Some years later, I am unsure of the potential ramifications of wanting to break said contract.

I understand I might look like an unprepared, stupid person grappling with this issue so late into the process, but I would appreciate any help or guidance regardless. I am not yet sold on the decision by any means, but I would like to know my options.
