Mature student confusion

Hey guys ,

So basically i am 23 year old and i have been accepted as a mature student but not in my first choice though which was HR menagement because i was missing 5 years of experience and the pre requisites such as : MATH 208, MATH 209, ECON 201, ECON 203 and BTM 200 .

So i have been accepted in my second choice which is a certificate in modern standard arabic language (which i will need because i want to work in the middle-east eventually ). Now , sadly , i am really confused as to how University works in general so i wanted to know if i start this certificate can i also the pre requisite courses :MATH 208, MATH 209, ECON 201, ECON 203 and BTM 200 while i do my cerficiate in Arabic or not ? and if i can't what should i do and what program should i apply to ?

It is really my first time in university and i really feel like a boomer because i don't really understand the system

Your input would be very useful guys .

Thank you
