Less is not always more?
I've always believed less is more with makeup for the most part - start light and build up. Don't get me wrong, my makeup looks like makeup, and I like it that way. For what seems like a while now, I've struggled with making my eyeshadows stick with primer. I have oily skin and half way through the day, most of my shadows have migrated to the fold in my lids. I watch influencers online pile on primer or concealer on their eyelids and I think it looks so excessive, but the other day I decided to give it a shot - just slap that shit on. It felt so wrong trying to blend it out but I persevered. My eyeshadows are finally staying on all day through the hot summer work days! I was thrilled to be proven wrong.
What other products or techniques do you use/know that don't abide by the "less is more" mentality?
