Westfield Wheaton boarded up

Any idea what's going on over there? All entrances and exits to the parking lot are blocked with jersey barriers and dumpsters, the Giant parking lot is empty, and Google foot traffic based on cell phone activity shows there's nobody in Costco and Target. Skipping back through the county's construction webcam it looks like everybody cleared out around 4pm with a tow truck picking up cars in front of Costco by 430.

edit: figured it out from this sub of all places, looks like people were planning to use the parking lot as the last stop of a driving protest 5-7pm, and I guess the property owners didn't want to allow that to happen. I feel bad for the two cars currently driving laps trying to find a way out of the mall parking lot.
