Transition from 850 eco SSD to 970 M.2 nvme

Hey y’all So I’m getting in an m2 nvme drive in the mail (500gb) and I’m wondering how the transition process goes? How to delete OS and use SSD (500gb) for games+video editing? Do I need to partition or do anything “special” lol

M2 drive is gonna be running my OS when it comes in
