Have I been playing this game in the wrong order the whole time? Suddenly I'm SL92 with only one of the 4 great souls killed, and I haven't grinded at all this playthrough

The way I've always gone through the 4 great souls was LS-> OIK -> DDF -> TR. But looking at the wiki pages for different areas, it says the recommended area for Iron Keep is ~90. I'm in the middle of my third playthrough, and since I'm currently SL92, this wouldn't concern me, but looking at other areas does concern me since I've only killed the Lost Sinner so far. Drangleic castle is listed at ~95, and places like The Gutter and Tseldora are listed at ~40-70. Have I been going through the hardest one of the four paths before the others, inadvertantly overleveling myself and making the rest of the game a cakewalk? How am I almost at the (apparent) appropriate SL for Drangleic castle before I've even killed my second great soul? I haven't done any grinding at all during this run, I've died maybe 10 times so far, and my Soul Memory is currently at around 630k. Anyone else have this problem? The game is already kinda easy for me at this point due to my experience, I'd rather not be vastly overleveled too...

Edit: I'm just realising now, it might be because I've consumed literally every boss soul I've earned so far and used them to level up :/
