HOW IS THE LOCAL 580 IRONWORKERS PROCESS IN NYC?

I'm going through helmets to hardhats since I just retired honorably this past January. Im excited that I made their list and just waiting to be interviewed. Anyone know about the apprenticeship program, and how the process and union is in general?
