Burnt my peppers, Replant Advice? Central Iowa
So I made a poor decision and decided to water the base of my green peppers with a diluted 32% (UAN) nitrogen water solution. It was not diluted enough. I did this 3 days ago and my peppers pretty much got nitrogen burnt the next day. I have new pepper plants to put in, my question is can I use the same holes that the previous peppers were in? I have them planted in the landscape being fabric so making new holes isn't really an option. If I dig out the old holes and fill them with water and allow it to percolate down before planting the new plants do I still risk killing the new plants because they're in the same soil? Does anyone see an issue with this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
