I've opened 48 Immortal 1 treasures, recycled 42 of them, why did I only get 10 recycles worth of rebate?

I only got 2 immortal treasures worth and 2 progress towards the next treasure, despite the fact I've opened 48 Immortal 1 treasures and recycled 42?
