[SIB] MH:W (base game) or ESO (base game + Morrowind)
Long post, sorry
Both of these games are on sale currently on PS4 for $15 and $9 respectively. Before you say buy the expansions too, I wanna first see if I like the core gameplay before investing in them. Also, I'm already invested in other games, but they are in a down period rn and I have to wait for new content coming in a couple weeks (Destiny 2, Borderlands 3), so I don't wanna put too much money into something I'll probably drop once these games get updated.

Mostly what I am looking for in a game is something I can grind/farm but isn't too repetitive; map changes and enemy variations can keep me satisfied even if the core gameplay is the same. Also, I want an activity (doesn't have to be the main focus of the game) that I can play repeatedly while listening to music or watching streams without having to pay too much attention to the game (important dialogue, quiet audio queues, etc).

Also, working towards making my character look good is a main goal for me in video games. It's hard for me to play a game if my character look like shit, even if it is in first person. I know ESO has a transmog system but I dont know how friendly it is to players without spending a lot of money in microtransactions. As for MHW, I don't know if it has a transmog system but from what I have seen, a lot of the armor seems to be extremely bulky and doesn't really appeal to me that much.
Some other information: I've played MH4(?) and enjoyed it a bit, but I only liked using Insect Glaive and Dual Blades, so I don't know how much enjoyment I'll get out of MHW using only 1 or 2 weapon types. As for ESO, the only other MMO I've played is GW2 and enjoyed the combat and fashion in that game a lot. I also liked running around doing map completion and world bosses, so if ESO has similar activities, that would be nice. Also, if you have any other games that might fight my tastes better than these two, I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!
