Medical Schools will elect to delay review of applications due to MCAT Cancellations and COVID-19
So I contacted one of the medical schools on my list about MCAT cancellations in June. I was hoping to take my exam and submit after I got my score later this month. Obviously I had to reschedule to July 7th, and was anxious about submitting without my MCAT score. Basically the school told me that they are planning to push their review back and that info was released in the MSAR advisor reports. Don’t want to say the exact date to hint at the school, but if you look at the MSAR advisor reports for the primary application some schools are waiting till late July and August to review primary applications. Overall this was a huge relief for me and I hope it eases some of the anxiety others applying are facing as well.
