[Skin Concerns] Wound on face not healing

Hey guys, I accidentally picked off a scab on my face left by popping an ingrown hair while shaving a few days ago. Theres a small vertical open wound on my face now, I've been covering it up with a bandaid and using neosporin to keep it disinfected. I'm just wondering if you think the scab will grow back, and if this is the right procedure to take care of it. I was expecting the scab to regrow, but there hasnt been progress of healing since it was picked off.
