Outpatient Pre-op/pacu nurses out there?
Ive posted before, but the job hunt continues and evolves day by day! I am currently an inpatient ortho nurse and am just burned out from bedside nursing. Im taking my time right now to look into all sorts of outpatient/clinic positions and find one that's right for me. I have an interview tomorrow for an outpatient surgery center pre-op/pacu phase 1&2 nurse. I'd love to hear about your experiences and any tips for the interview process! Do you enjoy your job? I want something that is hands on, but less stressful than my current job which is a lot of answering call lights and taking people to the bathroom. I want to work with healthier patients who are not overly demanding, so I think an outpatient surgical setting may be a good fit. Thank you!
