Gameplay audio got recorded on same channel as commentary audio for an entire WEEK of recording, drowning out commentary. Any chances of saving it?

TECHNICAL QUESTION

So we do lets plays, and as the title says, Ive just discovered that an entire week's worth of recording is basically unusable in its current state. What happened is that we use OBS, and have it set up to record game audio and commentary audio onto two separate tracks in the same video file. So track 1 would be game audio, and track 2 is commentary audio.

I just went to start editing some episodes, and found that, somehow, OBS had changed its settings without me ever touching them, so that track 1 was just game audio, but track 2 was commentary audio AND game audio. The game audio completely drowns out the commentary, to the point where you can just barely even make out that anyone is speaking. Normally I take the commentary audio and run it through a compressor then amplify it, but as-is I dont think theres a way to do that. Its all 1 track so theres no way (that I know of) to isolate and extract just the commentary.

Anybody have any ideas? Or am I just screwed on this one? Im fairly certain Im screwed but I figure it cant hurt to ask.
