AITA For not being able to multitask?
Background- I am 25 and I am female. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome when I was about ten or so, and I am mostly introverted. I live in the USA and currently reside with family while paying for rent and putting money towards groceries. My family is rather large, with my niece also being over here in the meantime while my oldest sister works. Today was a crazy day because my oldest sister was working, the next sister took one of the cats to a specialty vet about a three hour drive away. My mom took my 15 year sister to a specialty doctor over an hour away for an appointment. I stayed behind to watch my 13 year sister, 10 year old brother, 7 year old niece, and 3 year old brother, along with the other 5 cats, 2 dogs (one is a really old foster), 4 puppies (one is a foster that I helped to survive parvovirus and is kept separate from her littermates till she is adopted), 4 kittens that we rescued, and a fledgling bird that we saved from a murder of crows that killed a brown thrasher in one of my moms trees. Mom left the house at 0700 hrs with 15 year old sister along with cat because they were handing the cat over to my sister because she lives in a different city. So I was up at that time as well to start the rounds with the animals. That took about three hours, then I woke the remaining kids up to make them homemade chocolate chip waffles with breakfast sausages. Once they were done eating and everything ot was about noon, so they put on a movie while I started on the animal rounds again while trying to clean up the house. Around 1600 hrs, after one mess to the next disaster, mom comes home and starts yelling at me about not being able to multitask because if she had been here, the house would be spotless instead off the cluttered mess it always is even when she is home. She is just going off on me about how a proper woman can multitask and how I'm an asshole who is always more concerned about myself than anything else, ranting and raving about how useless I am and how my sisters are so much better than me.So I take a kennel that is no longer being used up to the attic where they are stored and calm myself down. But now I am wondering if my mom is right about me being an asshole for not being able to multitask. So Reddit, Am I the Asshole?
