Sites without using a phone number?

Christ! It seems like every dating site other than AM (whose layout now sucks and is anything but user friendly) requires a phone number to confirm. Wife runs the phone bill. That eliminates direct texts. I'm too nervous about OPSEC to try a Google number for my phone. The r\affairs and NFN sections are nothing but guys. Is there any legit site out there that doesn't require a text to confirm your registration?
