Closing bad eye to Read

Hello,

I have on fairly good eye with very mild KC and the other with more moderate. Had cxl in both in January.

Over the last couple of months I'm find my self constantly closing my bad eye and only rely on my good when am concentrating on something. When I notice I try to keep it open to force my self to use both..

Is this common?
