Am I being contacted by a deity?

Greetings everyone!

I have been on my spiritual journey since 2016 but have always been intuitive / connected with the universe. When I awakened I worked on meditation, connecting with my spirit guides and archangels. I have been told I’m an earth angel and while I’m skeptical to label myself / give myself a title I do feel connected to that idea if that makes since.

I have always believed in Magick but haven’t really ever practiced or known how to. This year I have felt called to do more researcher and maybe practice a bit and then randomly I started seeing signs of Baphomet. A few days ago I had a random urge to draw (which I haven’t had in years) and I knew exactly what I needed to get out. It was a picture of Baphomet. After drawing this picture I have been seeing his name everywhere and felt a calling to learn more about him. I was scared at first but after learning about who he truly is I feel comfortable with him. Do you think this is him speaking out to me? I’m really just wondering how y’all would take this because I am a bit confused but I feel like there is a reason I’m seeing him everywhere but I just can’t figure it out! If you aren’t sure are there any good books you might recommend to point me in the right direction?
