Why do so many people talk about ninja gaiden yet in most of those cases have not played it?

Since NG has been so important for its genre it feels like many people know about, literary every review of Nioh mentions TN's work on Ninja Gaiden, and many mention it in a very good light, yet NG is played so little; ask these people if they have played it and it usually is a no. it feels fake, and frustrating, out of all the major hack and slash franchises NG seems to be glossed over so easily. I wish TN would make ports of NG04(hurricane packs included)+Black+NG2 and maybe that would give the game a push for curious consumers, just like the recent w101 remastered did, bringing a beloved title to current systems.
