Force Experience?

I'm near level cap with my Fighter main so I wanted to try something out of my comfort zone like techer or force. I'm unsure which sub class to use as this is my first magic focused class. So my question is the force way life exactly is it like a cross between a force and Hunter is something of its own? P.S. I asked a similar question about techer earlier just in case people want to put in there input of techer vs force.
