Going back for my BS in ENV

Hey Everyone,

I finally decided to go back to school a d decided on SNHU online for my BS in Environmental Science. Unfortunately my associates was too old to have anything transfer. My advisor told me about Sophia and I see a bunch of posts about it on here and some of it is pretty easy to understand what transfers.

However when I went through the courses for my major it looked like i could maybe do 6 classes but i see people saying they are transferring 60 or more credits through Sophia. I was wondering how that works, am I missing something? I see the humanities, fine art, social science on my degree as electives, do the sophia ones count towards those? It gets a little muddied.

Any info to help understand and potentially transfer more credits would be amazing.

Thanks in advance!
