Practising to play against flankers

Hi everyone, yesterday I found a workshop map by APM called 'Flank Duel Practise' which I found is a really good mode to simulate flankers. However does anyone have any experience having seen real improvement in-game as in the end of the day they are bots but yes good ones. Just asking for your opinion if its worth it or better left alone learning from qp or deathmatch. Thanks.
