Anyone heard of Magic Lantern type hacks for the G7?

I've been doing some digging and it seems like the only "hack" for the G7 is a script being run from a connected smartphone and it only makes reference to V Log L. I would love a mod that would allow for hdmi pass through while recording or a higher bit rate if possible. Has anyone heard of or even attempted to make something that would allow that?
