Carbon intensity per Kilowatt Hour (CIPK) comparison of Ontario vs Germany from 1996-2015. Ontario’s GHG reductions are a result largely of Nuclear Energy replacing all Coal generation (70%). Compare to the progress of the 500 billion Energiewende starting at the 2011 onward.

Instead of "why can't we be like Germany", perhaps we should say why can't we be like Sweden or France. If you're serious about reducing a GHG generation, you're serious about nuclear.
