Need help! Xbox to pc streaming!

Im getting a pc in about a week, and plan on streaming my xbox through my elgato to it. I saw that to get party chat volume in the stream, you need an Elgato chat link cable. Every video that I saw that explain how to use it had a headset that had a 4 pole end in each side of the cable. I have a steel series headset that has a four pole and on the part that goes into the controller, but the part that goes into the headset is a micro USB. Does anyone know if it’ll work?
