What did Alexander the great's helmet look like?

In the famous painting of the battle of issus he doesn't wear a helmet. In movies today he wears a lion helmet. Sources also say that he didn't like wearing helmets and in newer paintings he wears a pretty simple helmet. So I was wondering if any of you know what his helmet actually looked like.
