This made me so happy and gave me so much hope. I am 9.5 hours away time zone wise from my partner. I don't think they want to get married. These things worry me a little bit.

We just decided over webcam how much we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and then we thought that there’s no point in waiting anymore. We were going to spend this year staying with each other for longer periods of time etc, but if this year taught us anything it’s “don’t wait”. If you have the chance, if you have the opportunity, go for it!

Hi there! I'm in the US (29F) , boyfriend (23M) is in Ireland...have you tried to visit your fiance? Have you heard if anyone was able to go right now? I know there's a 14 day quarantine, which is do-able with an airbnb or isolated apartment situation. Wondering if anyone has tried to go/what was said at immigration and if they are turning passengers away upon arrival?
Hey there. Right now they are not allowed to travel out of a certain km range. Travel for tourists resumes july 20. And yes you'll have to fill out a form showing where you will be quarantined for the 14 days after arrival and provide that to immigration on arrival in Dublin . Have you seen the phases ? I plan on going Aug 10.

I'm in the same boat with my girlfriend. I found out yesterday that I was selected for the US diversity visa (would've made everything so much easier) but we have spoken a lot about applying for the fiance visa as we have always spoken about a future together and that we would one day get married. We were looking at couches/sofas the other day haha.
But I wish you two nothing but happiness :)
