He didn’t post in the subreddit r/IsTodayFridayThe13th. He had a streak of posting for probably several years. He is the only one that can post in that community, and members of r/IsTodayFridayThe13th take him and his word very seriously. That’s why this subreddit was created, to mark the days he left us hanging.
