Do you think God exists? Why or why not?

Our human definition of God is shoehorned into something good or bad or whatever our needs were at that time.
There is a higher power out there as evidenced by the creation of our universe/bigbang. To shortly explain: We know our universe started with the big bang, but what happened before that? and before that? and before that? There has to be a starting point as something cannot be made from anything but at the same time how can there be a start for everything? Surely something needs to before that right?
Well thats where the argument for a higher power comes in.
Now to the concept of a higher power vs god. If a human creates an Ai and restricts it to a computer. The Ai becomes self sentient after say 100 years of deep learning. Assuming that human who made the Ai is still alive and can still freely edit the code of the Ai, is the human a higher power or a god to the Ai?
The fact there is a higher power is a fact (To my knowledge) but everything else is subjective.
I do not think any god or supernatural being exists because the probability of such an entity existing is vanishingly tiny, so tiny it is not viable to theorise upon.
Not a STEM snob, but anything about religion/deism/theism is just rotten primitive bs.
Anything that has a beginning must have had a cause. The universe had a beginning and therefore it must have had a cause.
It’s logical to assume that the universe is the work of a supernatural being. There’s also the ontological argument which argues that the universe had to have been created by an intelligent being.
But honestly I have no idea. And can’t be bothered to.
I do and don't so an agnostic
Like I feel like there is an afterlife and a higher power but I need actual proof besides a book somebody wrote centuries ago
But its good to believe in something and have faith even if some of your beliefs sound stupid
Yes I just don’t think it’s a bearded man in the clouds.
No, i do not, because there is no evidence to support the existence of a god.
I do not. A lot of the universe makes a lot more sense if you assume it's something that just happened. And it's just the simpler theory. The first optimization process was evolution, which was simple enough to happen by chance, then that created people. With god, you either have to postulate another optimization process creating him, or that a complex intelligence just happened to exist by chance.
yes God exists hallelujah

That was a journey from start to finish
I do not. I need evidence of something existing for me to believe it. I'm all for being spiritual and I support anyone who finds peace in believing in a higher power, but a Bible and Church don't do it for me.
