Ahh thank you! It’s just a 0.5 mechanical pencil; good old trusty for me haha so I’m not sure how I managed that specifically. But it’s something I was criticised for so I’m glad I’m not actually a complete idiot

Thanks for sharing!! I am practicing sewing and pattern-making right now. But I do need to draw to really plan my ideas out eventually- so this is helpful. What notebook is this if you don’t mind?

Ohh good luck! Pattern cutting in my second favourite part and it’s such a great feeling when you’ve got it done and it toiles up perfectly!
It’s the fashionary A5 women’s sketchbook. It has a template dotted onto the page so you can see it but it doesn’t get in the way of your designs or colouring which is really handy. They have just upgraded the paper quality so there’s no bleed through from marker pens and it’s smoother. This ones an old sketch but it’s still fab to work in.
It’s an amazing company to get sketchbooks from and they’ve just released a pack of fashion templates that also has some good templates in the back of the box for more technical drawings for pattern cutting!
Have a look around on amazon and some other places like Instagram for some discount codes because they can get a little expensive but definitely worth it!

I love this drawing style, very minimalist and simple, but conveys your ideas perfectly
Thanks, it’s usually when I’ve got a lot of ideas going on and I want them on paper ASAP that it’s gets so simplified. Glad they still are easy enough to read by other people!
