Any breweries/beers to check out while in Iowa?

I'll be headed to Iowa (from Chicago) with my wife, and my father-in-law for a wedding. We'll be staying in Des Moines and was curious if there are any good breweries/beer bars to check out. Bonus points if they are kid friendly as we may have some nephews/nieces with us.
