Online Games should seperate Hardcore and recreation gamers

I think online games should offer seperate lobbies for gamers who play for recreation and others who play it hardcore. I think many misunderstandings could be avoided by doing so. Usually the games put me together with players of about the same level, but a high level doesn't mean I take it as serious as someone else.

I think that ranked and unranked mostly exist solely for that purpose

You obviously never played unranked games. There is mostly not a difference at all in ranked and unranked for competitiveness. Last competitive game I played was Overwatch and that shit was toxic as hell.

In that logic you should divide games by for toxic assholes and for normal ppl, but for that reason exists the report system, witch is obviously not perfect. There is some ways you can escape acid spitting in games, and it is muting most of your teammates at the start of the game, or start playing some old games where toxic ppl are nowhere to find, cuz most of them are dumb schoolboys.

Welp, no. I didn't. Good to know this feature already exists.

You just described every game with a functional matchmaking system.

I had an idea on how to take this a step further. It would be separate matches exclusively for people under the influence of alcohol. It sounds like a joke but hear me out. The next gen consoles could have a breathalyzer peripheral that helps prevent sober people from jumping in and dominating. Of course you will have some cases of the sober person getting their drunken roommate to blow a higher blood alcohol level for them.
