Is learning how to lucid dream worth it?
I’ve been wanting to learn how to lucid dream, but I keep getting scared away from it because of bad experiences and also things like sleep paralysis. What are some of the most major cons in lucid dreaming, and are there more cons than pros?

I really haven’t had any cons in my experience with lucid dreaming. I’ve had several cool experiences, and while I’ve kind of fallen of with my lucid dreams lately just the other night I spontaneously just somehow knew I was in a dream and had a long very cool lucid dream. I would have to say the only downside was loosing lucidity halfway through and it kind of turned into a normal dream, but I regained it later on. That can happen a lot if you don’t stay in the moment or if you don’t continuously ground yourself with reality checks or just constantly observe your surroundings, but other than that if you just tell yourself that the creepy sleep paralysis is not real you will be alright. I don’t open my eyes when I get it, which is very rare. Only sometimes when I attempt wild and I just hear things for a few seconds before I enter the dream, usually voices speaking a funky language lol. It is a bit freaky, it definitely made my heart sink the first time but then I was in a dream and it was awesome as hell. Good luck my friend
