i mean, i agree that someone might not want to wear it because they maybe need it at their job/schoop or whatever, and politically just disagree with it.

I wouldn't be triggered or think it's problematic, I'd just want a bland oen

Sure. But to call the news about it, and demand the State to denounce it? Seems way too overkill.

it's as stupid as the state doing it in the first place. print costs more than bland so this is taxpayer waste. unless they are donated or something, I'm not sure

They literally say in the video the manufacturers are providing them and no taxpayer money is being used.

I didn't watch the video because i don't care enough about this to do, but in that case i take back what I said about the waste

Yall posting this pretending to not be aware of how right wingers have changed public perception of that flag by flying it as just another in their collection alongside confederate and nazi flags. Or that r/conservative still has a picture of it.

The symbol is lost.

Yeah public perception has changed for stupid reasons.

But the point behind this post is to show how stupid it is to call the news and demand the state denounce the message over a mask that was donated for free and accidentally got past the people checking what masks were donated.

Also gotta love how the media reports on it; saying it's a white supremacist symbol and totally blows the whole thing out of proportion. Manufacturers of all sorts are donating these free masks so people who really need them can get them and some “inappropriate” masks like these slip through and they treat it like she was sent this on purpose and demands they denounce the message the mask sends.

Imagine the reaction if the masks had a black power fist on them...
