How do I do a bar chart in Excel, where the x-axis isn't 1,2,3,4,5 but instead it's data I have?

Sorry for the stupid question, I've tried to research this on google, but I can't get through the jargon. Gaaaah!

I have some data in Excel. The data in column A should be the x-axis, and the data in column B should be the y-axis. I want the x-axis to be linear though, even though my numbers are like 1,3,7,1000. It's okay if that means the 1000 bar is way off to the right.

Anyway, can you help me figure out how to do this?
