I want to learn all about this.

Hey guys, I really want to learn about mixing and editing and recording and everything concerning it. Sadly, I know nothing. Well, next to nothing. I've played around with Audacity a bit but I don't really know what I'm doing and I want to figure it all out. But when I go online, the stuff is either way too vague and simple, or way too detailed and I don't understand half the words. So any resources/links would be much appreciated
