I did my CBT today.

Best day this year so far.

It was my first time riding a motorcycle, and it was awesome. I stalled a couple of times, kept letting off the clutch too early leading the bike to jerk, but I got the hang of it.

At the end, the instructor took two of us learners onto the road, and I even managed to get up to 60mph. I was grinning ear to ear all the way through. Not having ridden before, as a lurker, I never quite understood Rideit's fascination with turns, or twisties. But it all makes sense now. I thought it was fun doing 60mph in a straight line, but a smooth turn at 20mph felt even better.

My only regret is that I did my CBT too early. I won't be able to ride again until 3 months when I turn 21 to do my DAS. I want to go out now!

The sweetheart I lost my virginity to was a Yamaha SR125.

I've ordered Proficient Motorcycling, what else can I do in the mean time?
