Friendly warning to all Redditors cooling down at the greenbelts...

Please, do not leave anything of value in your vehicles. No laptops, passports, personal documents, bank statements, or anything of any value. Proof of my experience when my truck was burglarized this Monday at Bull Creek greenbelt. My very nice brown Asus laptop was taken, as well as a fat file folder with all my personal documents, a smartphone, my stereo, and my mint condition Zwan CD (bastards!). They even stole two duffel bags full of clothes.

Right now is the perfect weather to ward off the heat at your favorite swimming holes, and the thieves know this all too well.

Although this is common sense to almost everyone, please be careful out there, and leave your valuables at home. Especially if you're hitting up the greenbelts or the local parks.
