Iama male diagnosed with acute intermittent porphyria. (One of the diseases also known as the vampires disease). Ama
A quick search showed no one else has done this before. In fact most of what comes up is the suicide girl. Either way, I personally am not affected by this as bad as some of my family members, and yet I know many more who aren't as bad.
Acute intermittent porphyria(aip) affects everyone differently, and what causes an attack can vary from the sun to alcohol. There is a list out there that contains many things porphyriacs should stay away from as they have been known to cause an attack.
Personally, I have a sensitivity to sun light which varies greatly day to day. I have to make sure to have a high carb diet. I have suffered seizures, temporary paralysis, vomiting for days, red urine.
I get an attack nearly every other day, and have adapted my life around that.
I really don't know what else to write. As for proof, I suppose I could leave my urine in the sun to show how it changes colour, but I'd really rather not. Ask me anything.
