If you could go anywhere in the universe but had to cut off contact with all human life, would you do it?

I was having this conversation recently with a friend. If hypothetically, a vessel was made that could sustain human life for 100 years and could travel anywhere in the universe (instantly), would you do it? The catch is that you would never be allowed to return to Earth but would witness things that no human would ever see or know about.
