How to get rid of musty/dusty smell?

So I just moved and started unpacking some boxes of books, CDs and records...and well, suddenly this room in my new place smells like a used bookstore (admittedly, some of the boxes haven't been opened in two years...)

While I enjoy the odour of used bookstores or record shops, I can't say I'm liking it too much in this enclosed space.

Is there anything I can do about it besides tossing out my stuff? I've washed the CD cased, but well, cleaning books and whatnot is a little more challenging.
