My fiance is getting deployed to Afghanistan in 2 weeks, I'm not coping very well. Any advice?

He'll be stationed in Kandahar and he's an MP. He'll be deployed for 12 months. This is his first deployment, and I am a mess. Any advice or saying how it's not as bad as I'm thinking, would be much appreciated. Thanks!
