Care Package Help

This is kinda my first 'proper' post so I'm sorry if I step out of line at all. I had a browse through some older Care Package posts (could only find 1) but being unfamiliar with the way things work, Thought I'd ask and see if I could get some new input.

While I don't know much of the specifics, I'm helping a friend of mine setup a Care Package for her uncle in the British Army. He's currently deployed in Afghanistan and was wondering what would be ideal things that he would need/want out there. So far I've worked out: Hard Drive/Flash Drive with TVs and Movies

Books and Graphic Novels (on a side note if anyone could recommend any good Zombie Novels I'd greatly appreciate that aswell.)

Pictures of Home/Family?

Hygiene products? I find that one hard to believe though as I would have figured they would be supplied with things like that.

Any help/Advice that could be given regarding the topic would be greatly appreciated
