Anyone in a good credit union in Boston/MA?

I'm looking to free myself from the shackles of Bank of America (they've done me no particular injustice, just for the principle of the thing, plus more interest would be nice). Is anyone a member of a credit union that they're particularly fond of and/or has good rates on savings accounts or CDs? I'm looking for checking plus savings, ideally with no monthly fees or that fun stuff. My boyfriend recently joined Metro credit union, but they're based in chelsea and I wouldn't want to have to go out there if I had a problem or a check to deposit (I'm in Somerville and alas, no car). Any thoughts, bostonian redditors?
