The Doctor's Daughter...[Season 4 spoilers]

So I am re watching all the 10th Doctor's episodes and while watching 'The Doctor's Daughter' (S04E06) I don't understand how she can have a partial regeneration - Only healing her and not changing form, the Doctor does it in 'The Stolen Earth' but needs his hand to put the extra regeneration energy into. Which brings me to another point does that count as a regeneration?

Also I would like to see more of the Doctor's Daughter, she was quite interesting and cute!

And I introduced my mom to Doctor Who, I hope she likes it as much as I do :D
