Question: A few months ago I bought, CHEAP ($350), a Washburn WMI-DLX electric (new)....
It's a classic Gibson Les Paul rip off in design. BUT, I have learned it has a 'unique' bridge/fret set-up.
I'm happy as can be with it so far. Two humbucker pickups, great action/fingering. Sounds and plays wonderfully.
I'm asking any input from you guys about the 'unique' set-up for it. So far, I've found that even with a capo, I do NOT have to re-tune even a single string. Bar chords up to the 14th fret don't go wonky on me at all in basic sound selections.
Any experience with this set-up? Any negatives I should be alert to?
So far, this is the BEST electric (or acoustic for that matter) for finger-stlye playing that I've ever come across.
(by the way: I'm 56 and learned to play at age 12, so I kinda know what a good guitar sounds like, though I'm not a pro)
