Was the Mask Policy BS at your store?

I am about to head back to work tonight after a few days off and within that time the mask policy for shoppers dropped. I went in a hour ago to pick a few things up and noticed that maybe 1/3 (that’s generous) was wearing a mask. No one was at the front doors at all. Was the policy a PR stunt like the hypothermia thermometers or is my SM just lazy and money hungry?

It doesn’t start until Monday...

Ah, well then there is hope. Very little hope, but it’s still there.

Don't expect too much. All they have to do is say they have a medical condition and we can't do any thing.

About what I expect. My girlfriend was excited that it would be safer and I assured her that someone coughing on everything and sweating profusely would be allowed in with no mask as long as they were clutching a $20.

Honestly I'm prepared to get coached. Once Monday rolls around I'll be telling maskless customers to get another associate to help them. Walmart isn't protecting me by not enforcing this, and i need a job. So I will enforce it at a personal level.

I ordered a new mask that's suppose to be cooler and moisture wicking. I pray it is. Those other masks make me sweat and I hate it!!
